El día de ayer se lanzó a la venta el juego de plataformas Shovel Knight, inspirado fuertemente en los juegos de NES, no sólo en el estilo gráfico y gameplay, también en su banda sonora, que pueden escuchar a continuación, ya sea la versión Original y la versión Arranged Strike the Earth! con varios arreglos de las melodías hechas por músicos invitados. El score fue compuesto por Jake Kaufman quien fue acompañado por Manami Matsumae, que si no la conocen por nombre, seguramente reconocerán su estilo, ya que ella trabajó en la música y efectos especiales sonoros de varios juegos de Capcom a finales de los 80s e inicios de los 90s, incluídos Mega Man (1 y 2) y Magic Sword.
